October events are falling into place; don’t get left in the dark!

The pumpkin season has arrived!
Three fall events we have in store,
with thrilling chills and fun galore…

The October season is upon us, and all are invited for another year of fall fun at Quarry Park Adventures! Skeletons and spiders have taken over our rock walls, and pumpkins and scarecrows are popping up in our coves! Eerie sounds have been heard in the Miners Maze and a surplus of candy has landed at our doorstep…

This harvest season includes a trio of festive events to delight adventurers of all ages. From costume parades to trick-or-treating, our events are sure to be spooktacular for the entire family. Read below to learn more about each event and to bOoOooooOk your tickets before they expire!

 

The Fun and Fright Climb

Friday, Oct. 6, 2023 (7 p.m. – 10 p.m.)

This brand new event kicks off our Halloween season with a limited, ticketed event on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. In its inaugural year, our Fun and Fright Climb offers a unique, after-dark opportunity to climb in the Quarry with lighting and decorations throughout the park. Halloween costumes are highly encouraged for this event, where you’ll zip, climb, and soar through the dark! Share photos from our photo spots and snack on free candy refreshments. Ticket includes open access to Quarry zip line, rappel, rock climbing, via ferrata, free fall, and aerial courses (no Kidz Kove or Paddleboats.) Guests must exit the course by 10 p.m. Younger participants under the age of 12 will require additional, ticketed supervisors over the age of 14.

Harvest Festival Family Weekend

Saturday, Oct. 21 – Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023 (11 a.m. – 3 p.m.)

Our annual fall festival returns this year for a two-day, free event for the community. The event runs from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. both days and is appropriate for all ages. Enjoy free candy throughout the park while supplies last, fall photo opportunities, festive decorations, food and beverages for sale, and free children’s activities! Costumes are highly encouraged. Join us at the adventure park or simply walk through to enjoy the sights. Paid tickets are not required for access to our festival activities, but our adventure park will be open for regular operations during these hours. Plan to adventure in Kidz Kove or stay and play when you book one of our Quarry Adventure Tickets.

Annual Trunk or Treat

Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023 (11 a.m. – 3 p.m.)

Witches, goblins, superheroes, and more are invited to trick-or-treat at our event this Halloween weekend! This event is free to the public, and costumes are highly encouraged from all ages!

Trick-or-treat yourself through our free candy stations and fill your buckets with plenty of early Halloween loot. Test your skill in our scavenger hunt to win a prize, and participate in our free children’s activities to burn off some energy before the night falls. Snack on harvest-themed treats available for purchase, and show off your Halloween drip in our finale Spookin’ the Quarry Costume Parade at 2:00 p.m. Don’t forget to take a photo at our costume stop to enter to win a prize in our social media contest!

And to celebrate the season, Kidz Kove tickets are just $7.00 on Saturday, October 28. Your Kidz Kove ticket unlocks access to our supersized play zone and spooky Miner’s Maze, recommended for ages up to 11. Guests without paid tickets will not be permitted entry to our Kidz Kove and Maze zone. 

In addition to all the free fall fun, our adventure park will be open for regular operations during these hours. Stay and play when you book one of our Quarry Adventure Tickets!
