Field Trip FAQs
How much does a field trip cost?
Field trips use our group rates: groups of 15–49 save 20% and groups of 50+ save 25%, applied automatically at checkout. Granite Quarry Adventures start at $47.20 per student, and Kidz Kove starts at $8.00 per child.
How many students can you host?
Quarry Adventures can accommodate up to 60 guests per start time. Bringing more? Book additional start times online for the rest of your group. For groups larger than 120, request a custom quote and our Group Sales team will build a plan with you. We host groups 363 days a year.
What ages are field trips best for?
Quarry Adventures are best for ages 8+ (45–250 lbs). Kidz Kove welcomes ages 3–13 and is best for ages 3–10, so mixed-age groups can split up and everyone has a great day. See our full Participant Requirements.
Do chaperones need tickets?
Students under 12 on Quarry Adventures need a ticketed Supervising Companion age 14+, so include chaperones in your group count. On the Aerial Adventure and Via Ferrata, companions go with the kids they supervise (up to 3 kids per adult). In Kidz Kove, a supervising companion (14+) is required and enters free.
Can you work with our school’s purchasing process?
Yes. We can provide the documentation needed to set us up as a vendor in most school systems. A 20% deposit secures your booking and the balance is due 7 days before your visit. Need a different arrangement? Email groups@quarrypark.com. See our Payment & Cancellation Policy for Group Bookings.
What happens on the day of our visit?
Each participant completes an online waiver using the link in your booking confirmation email. Arrive 15 minutes early, and our trained staff will handle gear-up, your safety orientation and instruction.
What if our plans change?
You can reschedule or cancel for a full refund through your customer portal up to 24 hours before your visit. Same-day cancellations and no-shows aren’t eligible for a refund. Read the full Payment & Cancellation Policy for Group Bookings.
What about the weather?
We’re an outdoor venue and operate in rain and most weather, but we may close for extreme conditions. If your group would rather not participate in rain, call us at least 24 hours ahead to reschedule.
